PLATFORM : Ban of Little Merit Ron Carter, Former smoker Ron Carter, who is the marketing director of the American Assn. of Critical-Care Nurses in Aliso Viejo, has lived in Laguna Beach for five years. He commented on the City Council's banning cigarette machines in the city. He told The Times:
PLATFORM : Inflammatory JIM GALIPEAU, JIM GALIPEAU is an officer for the Los Angeles County Probation Department's metropolitan specialized gang unit. He commented on a study issued by Dist. Atty. Ira Reiner, which concludes that 47% of black men between the ages of 21 and 24 show up in police gang databases.
