One of the Southland's biggest home builders, The Fieldstone Co., based in Newport Beach, was not listed in The Times' 1992 survey of residential building in Southern California, which was published March 7.
The company, which ranked No. 2 in the 1991 survey, would have retained that position, if the company's 1992 results had been received in time for inclusion in the survey.
Fieldstone chairman Peter M. Ochs reported sales volume of $301.5 million last year, when the company built 1,125 single-family homes and 100 condos. It projected 1993 sales of $295 million and 1,204 units.
