Judge Grants Divorce to Boesky's Wife: Ivan F. Boesky, the securities dealer who was worth hundreds of millions of dollars before being convicted of insider trading, was divorced by his wife, Seema, on grounds of "cruel and inhuman treatment," said a court source familiar with the case. In New York, matrimonial cases are normally sealed from public disclosure, but the source disclosed the divorce on condition of anonymity. New York Supreme Court Justice Phyllis Gangel-Jacob scheduled a hearing for April 16 on finances. Boesky is reportedly seeking thousands of dollars in regular financial support from his ex-wife. Seema Boesky inherited majority ownership in the Beverly Hills Hotel and later reportedly got more than $50 million as her share when it was sold.
