Anti-Hitler Series Scheduled at USC

"The White Rose: Student Resistance Against Hitler," a program of events co-sponsored by the Goethe Institute and the Weisse Rose Foundation of Munich, will take place at USC's Annenberg School of Communications from April 16 through May 5.

It will consist of an exhibition of photographs and documents at the Annenberg's gallery, plus a film series depicting the activities of the Munich-based student movement.

The films, which will be shown at 7 p.m. at the Goethe Institute, 5700 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 110, are "The White Rose" (April 20), "The Restless Conscience" (April 27), "Five Last Days" (April 29) and "The Nasty Girl" (May 4). Franz J. Muller, one of only two living members of the White Rose, and Hans Mommsen, professor of history at the University of Bochum, will speak at a gallery reception April 16 at 6 p.m.
