Rare Clips at Silent Society Anniversary

April 12, 1993

The Silent Society will celebrate the seventh anniversary of its founding at the Hollywood Studio Museum, 2100 N. Highland Ave., tonight with a 7:30 p.m. program of fragments of lost films, including a nearly complete print of "Call of Her People" (1917), starring Ethel Barrymore.

The screening will serve as a presentation to the museum of four newly restored turn-of-the-century motion picture cameras formerly owned by Herbert O. Carleton Sr., cinematographer of "Call of Her People."

Refreshments will be served.
