Shareholders Sue Home Shopping Network: Home Shopping Network Inc. has been hit with three class-action shareholder lawsuits charging that the television retailer failed to disclose financial improprieties. All three suits filed in U.S. District Court in Tampa, Fla., claim that Home Shopping did not reveal allegations that its executives profited at the expense of earnings through improper relationships with vendors. Those accusations--made in recent civil lawsuits involving former HSN executives--led its parent this week to cancel a deal to buy the rest of the network's stock.
