Baltimore Orioles owner Eli S. Jacobs owes a total of $273 million to his 20 largest creditors, with Morgan Guaranty Trust Co. of New York topping the list with claims totaling $71 million, according to bankruptcy court documents filed by Jacobs.
The documents, filed late Monday, did not give a full account of the New York investor's finances, because they included only a partial list of his assets. But lawyers for Jacobs, who has in the past maintained his finances in strict secrecy, said he will provide more details within 30 days.
