Sandberg is currently on rehabilitation assignment with the Orlando Cubs of the Southern League. . . . A hairline wrist fracture, sustained when he was hit by a John Candelaria pitch in Saturday's game against Pittsburgh, will keep center fielder Steve Finley out of the Houston Astros' lineup for at least three weeks. . . . The Kansas City Royals have recalled left-handed pitcher Dennis Rasmussen from his rehabilitation assignment in Omaha and put left-handed reliever Frank DiPino, who has chicken pox, on the 15-day disabled list.
