Changing of the Guard: David Letterman played host on his show Tuesday night to the man who will succeed him as host of NBC's "Late Night" series, Conan O'Brien. "Just a word of advice," Letterman told the casually dressed O'Brien. "I think the network would kind of like to see you in a tie." But Letterman, who is taking his act to CBS this summer, turned sentimental at the end of the interview, telling his successor: "We've had great fun here, and we've had wonderful times and terrific success, and I certainly wish all of that for you."
