A New Role: Actor Jeff Bridges is set to take on his first action role in MGM's "Blown Away," which begins principal photography in August. Produced by John Watson, Pen Densham and Richard Lewis ("Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" and "Backdraft"), the film stars Bridges as the leader of a big-city bomb squad who becomes the target of revenge for an ingenious bomber.
