NEW YORK — First brother Roger Clinton and another fan briefly grappled with each other following an exchange of some harsh words while watching a New York Knicks basketball game, a spokeswoman for the sports arena said Friday.
Clinton, 37, an aspiring rock musician, wrapped his arm around the neck of another fan before he was restrained by one of his own security guards, said Monie Begley, spokeswoman for Madison Square Garden.
The incident took place Wednesday night when the Knicks were in overtime against the Charlotte Hornets. Begley said that with the game at a key point, few people noticed the incident.
Clinton, who had performed at a New York club the night before, was traveling and could not be reached for comment.
