* Outlook: In Division I, Santa Barbara and Peninsula will play a rematch of last season's championship final, which Santa Barbara won, 13-5. The Dons have won five consecutive team titles, 10 overall since 1939. Peninsula seeks its first title. The Division I final also will provide a rematch for the Southern Section's two best players. Alex DeCret, Santa Barbara's No. 1 singles player, and Loren Peters, Peninsula's No. 1 singles player, have been stalking each other for the past two years. DeCret defeated Peters last Saturday to win the Southern Section singles championship, but Peters defeated DeCret to win the 1992 singles title.

In the Division II final, Harvard-Westlake's star player, Phillip Tseng, will try to lead the Wolverines to their sixth title in seven years. Harvard-Westlake won five consecutive titles before missing the final last season. The Wolverines have won 11 titles since 1959. Sunny Hills is led by its No. 1 doubles team, Dave Robbins and Joseph Gilbert, who advanced to the final of the Southern Section doubles tournament Saturday.

Both teams in the Division III final had close semifinal matches. Righetti tied top-seeded Calabasas, 9-9, and advanced to the final on games, 84-75. Burbank tied defending champion Quartz Hill, 9-9, and advanced to the final on games, 79-72.
