San Dimas : Assessment Increased

July 18, 1993

The City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to increase the citywide street lighting and landscape maintenance assessment for property owners.

The average household will pay $56.88 annually, an increase of $5 a year. Apartment owners will pay an extra $10 per unit, bringing the annual fee to $35.85. The increase goes into effect immediately.

City Manager Donald L. Pruyn said the increases will provide an extra $100,000 to cover higher maintenance and utility costs and restore emergency reserves.
