Satellite Technology Gets $3.4-Million Order From Italy

Satellite Technology Management Inc. said Thursday that it has received an order valued at about $3.4 million from Com.Lab Srl, an affiliate of its Italian distributor and business partner, Com.Net SPA.

Satellite Technology makes and supplies microwave radio transmitter-receivers and electronics boxes for small communications satellite dishes and the software to control the equipment. Its products are designed to support data, facsimile, voice and video networks over large distances.

Satellite Technology and Com.Net have supplied the Costa Mesa company's networks to a number of major businesses and government agencies in Italy, including the Bank of Italy, Bank of Naples, the Italian Railroad and the Italian Ministry of Transportation.
