PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : RAIDERS : Penalties Concern Shell

August 23, 1993|LONNIE WHITE

Two days after watching the Raiders lose their third consecutive exhibition game, 18-7, against the Indianapolis Colts, Coach Art Shell was still bothered by his team's lack of execution.

"We are making way too many mistakes," Shell said. "Twelve penalties for 101 yards (against the Colts) is just a lack of concentration. We are going to have to work on doing the little things."
