High Life: A WEEKLY FORUM FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS : It's Not Quite Endless Summer

September 02, 1993

One final weekend remains before the new school year starts for most Orange County high schools.

Start dates vary by school district, but by the end of next week, most of the estimated 128,000 students in grades 9 through 12 will be back in the classroom.

And, except for a break here and there, that's where they will be until school lets out for most next June 16 and 17.

"My sister was only a very tiny child then, and she was drinking her milk, and all of a sudden I saw that she was God and the milk was God. I mean, all she was doing was pouring God into God, if you know what I mean."
