SANTA ANA : School Seeks Alumni to Mark Anniversary

September 09, 1993

In honor of Santiago Elementary School's 40th anniversary, community leaders are seeking alumni to participate in a rededication ceremony to be held sometime during the 1993-94 school year.

"We're just trying to find as many students from each year as possible," said Kathi Jo Brunning, who is helping organize the yearlong series of events marking the anniversary.

Alumni are invited to fill out forms detailing their memories of Santiago and personal information about what they do now. The information will be shared with current students "partly to motivate (them), so they can see what happened to the people who went before," Patti Heimann said. Forms are available at the school at 2212 N. Baker St.

For more information, call Brunning at (714) 285-1492 or Heimann at (714) 541-2946.
