Popular romance fiction and bestsellers are among the miniseries weaving their way into the fall season. There'll be no shortage of biographies on the Kennedy brothers coming to the small screen this season as well, including the controversial tome on Ted Kennedy by Joe McGinniss.

"Jackie Collins' Hollywood Husbands": Based on the 1986 bestseller focusing on three best friends who make it big in Hollywood. Collins adapted the teleplay from her novel. TBA. NBC.
"A Matter of Justice": Patty Duke, Martin Sheen and Alexandra Powers in a fact-based story about a mother's determination to bring her son's murderer to justice. November. NBC.
"Return to Lonesome Dove": Jon Voight, Barbara Hershey, Rick Schroder, Louis Gossett Jr., Chris Cooper, William Petersen and Tim Scott star in the sequel. TBA. CBS.
