Bailey was member of Washington's 1991 national championship team. Kalal has played for Bills and Patriots, and for the Falcons last season. Bunn was drafted in the third round by the Redskins, who later cut him before the regular season started.

The Rams already made one move with punters last week, signing Paul McJulien and releasing Don Bracken.

Rookie running back Derek Brown of the Saints, who play the Rams Sunday at Anaheim Stadium, is the league's fourth-leading rusher with 347 yards in 76 carries, a 4.6 average. Brown, a former standout at Servite High, bypassed his senior season at Nebraska to enter last spring's draft.
