Glendale : Bank Donates Computers

Community Digest

October 21, 1993

Thanks to a bank that was buying new computers for its employees, the Glendale Community Foundation and the Glendale Symphony Orchestra also have new computers.

According to the foundation, Fidelity Federal Bank chose to recycle the computers it was replacing by donating them to several charities, including three to the foundation.

The foundation arranged to have the computers upgraded, then gave one to the symphony, along with money to buy software, and kept two for its own work, replacing two older models it had been using.
