The Dallas Cowboys put center Mark Stepnoski on the injured-reserve list because of season-ending surgery planned for his right knee. Taking Stepnoski's place on the active roster will be James Parrish, a 6-foot-6, 310-pound offensive tackle from Temple.
Linebacker Greg Lloyd of the Pittsburgh Steelers will miss Sunday's game at Seattle because of a pulled hamstring. Bryan Hinkle, who will probably announce his retirement after the season, will replace Lloyd.
