An elaborate "Circle of Nations" monument planned for the Rose Bowl entrance to commemorate the first time that the World Cup soccer tournament has come to the U.S. will give fans the chance to have their names literally cemented in sports history.
To raise money to promote Pasadena as a venue for additional sporting events, the Chamber of Commerce is selling the tiles that will pave the walkway leading to the monument.
