TriStar President Expected to Head Combined Unit

Jon Feltheimer, president of TriStar Television, is expected to be named head of a combined TriStar Television and Columbia Pictures Television at Sony Studios.

Sony declined to comment, but TV executives were buzzing all week about the changes afoot at Sony's network TV production division.

According to the rumors, Feltheimer will oversee both divisions, leaving open the fate of Scott Siegler, president of Columbia Pictures TV. TriStar TV under Feltheimer has been on a hot streak with shows such as "Mad about You" on NBC and "The Nanny" on CBS.

* Nancy Kirkpatrick has been named vice president of publicity at Warner Bros.

* Castle Rock Entertainment has promoted Gregory M. Paul to executive vice president and general counsel.

* Jeffrey Schlesinger has been named president of Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.

* Ed Trainor is the new senior vice president of information systems for Paramount Pictures.

* Ron Kramer is the new national director of member, chapter and branch services for the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.

* Debra Stein is the new vice president of public relations at Live Entertainment.

* Network 1 has named Diane L. Karrmann to director of programming and scheduling.

* Fashion photographer Douglas Strock has been named director of marketing and photography for Star Hollywood Headshots.
