Ventura County prosecutors on Thursday charged a 45-year-old man with murder in connection with a December slaying of a Ventura man outside his apartment building.

Judge Bruce A. Clark set bail for defendant Garabet Majoubian at $250,000. He was arrested Friday in the Dec. 20 death of Erasmo Moro, 48.

Moro's body was found in the carport of the Scandia Apartments in east Ventura after police and firefighters responded to reports of gunshots.
