Iwerks Entertainment Inc. has signed an agreement with Blockbuster Entertainment to design, build and install Turbo Tour theaters for a chain of family-oriented entertainment complexes being developed by Blockbuster Entertainment. The company will also produce the films shown at the venues.
Burbank-based Iwerks designs and installs special-venue theaters in theme parks, fairs, museums and visitor centers around the world. Blockbuster is a global entertainment company specializing in home-video rentals and music retail stores.
