WILSHIRE / KOREATOWN : Public Input Asked on Growth Plan

March 27, 1994

The city's Planning Department will hold another in its series of community meetings Thursday to encourage public participation in the revision of the General Plan, the document that guides the city's growth and development.

Residents of the Wilshire district, Koreatown, Echo Park and Hollywood are invited to attend the meeting, which begins at 6:30 p.m. at A & M Records, 1416 N. La Brea Ave., in the Charlie Chaplin Sound Stage.

This phase of community meetings is a preliminary step toward revising the plan, last updated in 1974, and will focus on development, transportation and economic policy strategies. Information and simultaneous translation (and details on child care for the meeting): (800) 376-9675.
