A community college student was arrested on campus Tuesday on suspicion of robbing a Thousand Oaks movie theater at gunpoint, authorities said.

Joseph Gora, 20, of Ventura was taken into custody at Ventura College after several sources identified him as the suspect in the Feb. 28 robbery of the Melody Theater at 1792 N. Moorpark Road, sheriff's deputies said.

According to deputies, Gora entered the theater, approached a clerk, took out a gun and demanded cash. He fled with an unspecified amount of money, authorities said.

Gora was booked at Ventura County Jail, where he was being held in lieu of $20,000 bail.
