Cable Channel Will Be Aimed at Filipinos in U.S.: A Philippine company plans to launch the channel on the West Coast to show movies and other programs aimed at an estimated 1 million of the 2 million Filipinos in the western United States. J. Xavier Gonzales, chief financial officer of Benpres Holdings, told a business forum Friday that the company will beam older Filipino TV shows and movies and made-for-television films to the West Coast by satellite.
