Lincoln Middle School in Santa Monica is among 26 middle and high schools in Los Angeles County recognized as a California Distinguished School.

The only Westside school so honored, Lincoln was compared with 200 California middle school applicants. Statewide, 76 middle schools were named distinguished schools.
