Perceptronics Gets Defense Contract From Egypt

May 24, 1994

Perceptronics Inc., a Woodland Hills maker of simulation software and systems for commercial and military training programs, said it received a $2.7-million contract from Egypt.

The contract calls for Perceptronics to deliver precision gunnery training systems for the TOW missile to Egypt's Armament Authority over the next 14 months.

Perceptronics said that training simulators are needed for anti-armor missiles such as the TOW, which are too expensive to be fired for training purposes.
