New York City's largest rooming house was seized by the federal government in a bid to end drug dealing and murders there. Shortly before the 621-room Kenmore Hotel was seized, eight rooms were searched for drugs and 18 people were arrested, police said. The hotel houses a large number of people who rely on government aid, and it will continue to operate under the direction of a management company, officials said. The hotel's hotel, Tran Dinh Truong, is not charged with any crime.
