Gov. Pete Wilson on Monday appointed three judges to Orange County Municipal Court.
Attorney Gail A. Andler will be a judge at Central Municipal Court in Santa Ana. Attorneys W. Michael Hayes and Robert H. Keefe will join North ty Municipal Court in Fullerton, according to Wilson's office.
Each will be paid $95,214 yearly. Wilson made the appointments to fill vacancies on the court, where misdemeanor crimes are tried and preliminary hearings for felony crimes are held. The court also handles small claims.
Andler, 37, of Dana Point, has worked as legal counsel for the State Bar of California since 1989. She was a litigator for the State Bar for two years and has worked for private law firms and served three years as the deputy district attorney for Ventura County. She replaces Judge Edward Laird, who retired.
