eye tracks: \o7 n\f7 . facetious term for damage caused by excessive reading. "You've been reading that book for so long you've de-minted it with \o7 eye tracks.\f7 "

fanboy: \o7 n\f7 . obsessive collector.

Kirbyesque: \o7 adj.\f7 a style inspired by the late Jack Kirby, who helped create Captain America, Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk and the Fantastic Four.

Marvel zombie: \o7 n\f7 . fan who buys every issue of Marvel comics, usually has superhero power fantasies. \o7 Syn. \f7 Marvel dweeb.

mutant head: \o7 n\f7 . devotee of Mutant comics.

splash page: \o7 n\f7 . a full page devoted to one drawing--usually a battle scene or other splashy image. "Boy, those Image books are taken over by \o7 splash pages. \f7 There wasn't any story."

squid: \o7 n\f7 . especially annoying fanboy. "The \o7 squid \f7 sat me down and talked about X-Men for two hours."

stoner: \o7 n\f7 . head-shop type hooked on R. Crumb, Freak Brothers and other druggie comics.
