Aircraft Repairs to Cost Chevron $40 Million: The refiner will repair or replace aircraft engines damaged by tainted fuel sold in Northern California, a Chevron Corp. spokesman said. Hundreds of gallons of aviation gasoline inadvertently mixed with heavier jet fuel was distributed to six Northern California airports between May 17 and June 24.
