July 24, 1994| Associated Press

COLIMA, Mexico — The Colima volcano in western Mexico showed no signs of new seismic activity Friday as some 500 ranchers and farmhands returned home after an eruption the night before.

Colima, a 3,960-meter volcano, erupted at 8:14 p.m. Thursday in a towering cloud of ash and rocks.
