Rights and Rites

July 26, 1994

During June we attended three graduations of grandchildren, one in Austin, Tex., one in Dallas, and one in Ojai. The two in Texas started with prayer and the one in California gave a poem about a tree.

This was a complete shock to us. Then we read the article about prayer at Buena High in Ventura and all the problems it caused. People today need to read the U. S. Constitution. It guarantees freedom of religion not freedom from religion.

Wake up, California, before God does it with an earthquake you won't forget. Believe me, he can get your attention.

EPHRAIM P. HANSELL, San Antonio, Tex.
