Cracking Asian Market: In its first big sales to the Asian market, Odetics Inc. will install more than $2 million worth of products at five Korean TV and cable stations during the next two months.

The Anaheim-based maker of information automation equipment said Wednesday that the products are robotic systems that automate tape libraries for the broadcast industry. The sale was made by Odetics' office in Singapore, which opened earlier this year.
