Sandy Cohen will receive a Woman of Achievement Angel Award Wednesday in recognition of her work for the John Wayne Cancer Institute Auxiliary.
The auxiliary, co-founded by Cohen in 1983, is a fund-raising and volunteer arm of the institute. Since it was established, the auxiliary has raised more than $4 million for the institute's research.
