October 15, 1994|ANTONIO OLIVO

Ready to kill your spouse? Is your inner critic driving you crazy? Or perhaps you'd simply like to know more about sex in the '90s?

If so, the San Fernando Valley chapter of the California Assn. of Marriage and Family Therapists may have the answer for you.

The chapter will present a series of workshops today at Valley College that will focus on reducing stress, improving relationships and enhancing self-esteem.

"Surviving and Thriving in the '90s" will feature 36 workshops divided into six one-hour sessions that allow participants to concentrate on improving one aspect of their lives or focus on a variety of personal growth concerns.

Courses range from "How to Stay Married Without Killing Each Other" to "Secrets of Self-Esteem" and "Dealing With Life's Shocks and Aftershocks."

Workshops will be held from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Valley College's Monarch Hall-Campus Center. Registration fee is $43 at the door. For information, call (818) 988-3911.
