CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Virginia quarterback Mike Groh, starting the second consecutive game while Symmion Willis recovers from a pulled hamstring, threw for 256 yards and two touchdowns as the No. 25 Cavaliers stunned No. 15 North Carolina, 34-10, Saturday.

Groh completed 15-of-21 passes as Virginia, 6-1 overall and 4-1 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, won its sixth consecutive game.

Virginia took a quick 17-point lead and went on to defeat North Carolina (5-2, 2-2) for the seventh time in eight games.

Virginia, one of the nation's top rushing defenses, gave up a season-high 169 yards on the ground.
