Nibbles and Bits

October 25, 1994

A preliminary estimate indicates that the Laguna Art Museum netted $100,000 with its 13th annual art auction Saturday, a 20% decline from last year's take. However, last year's was seen as abnormally high because part of the proceeds were earmarked for artists who lost property in the Laguna Canyon fire. All the money raised this year will benefit the museum's education programs.
