In other Division I volleyball:

Huntington Beach 3, Corona del Mar 0--Melissa Wendt had 24 kills for visiting Huntington Beach (14-3), which won, 16-14, 15-7, 15-7.

Newport Harbor 3, Capistrano Valley 1--Misty May had 27 kills to lead top-ranked Newport Harbor to a 15-6, 15-4, 8-15, 15-6 victory. Newport Harbor (26-1) will play the Agoura-Santa Barbara winner.

Dana Hills 3, Laguna Hills 0--Jenny Kessy had 13 kills and Natalie Luna had 36 assists to lead Dana Hills (20-4) to a 15-7, 15-3, 15-8 victory. Dana Hills will face Edison.

Edison 3, Ventura 0--Kelly Liniger had 11 kills and seven blocks and Kristen Clemens added seven aces for fourth-seeded Edison (16-1) in its 15-1, 15-5, 15-9 victory.

Manhattan Beach Mira Costa 3, El Toro 0--Second-seeded Mira Costa won, 15-1, 15-2, 15-13. El Toro ends 13-7.

In Division II volleyball:

Foothill 3, Troy 0--Kami Kooi had 12 kills and Amanda Schwer had 26 assists to lead Foothill (10-5) to a 15-8, 15-7, 15-9 victory. The Knights play La Habra a 15-5, 15-8, 15-6 winner over Crescenta Valley, in the second round Saturday.

Orange 3, Downey Warren 0--Charlene Conley had nine kills for Orange, which won, 15-3, 15-10, 15-3. The Panthers advance to play Sunny Hills.

Sunny Hills 3, El Modena 0--Tegan Catlin had 14 kills to lead Sunny Hills (16-1) to a 15-1, 15-11, 15-4 victory.

In Division III volleyball:

Pacifica 3, Bell Gardens 0--Tracy Burns had 15 kills and Amanda Freed had 12 for Pacifica (14-2) which won, 15-4, 16-14, 15-3. Pacifica plays Etiwanda in Saturday's second round.

Katella 3, Los Amigos 0--Kellie Alva had 12 kills for Katella (13-4), which won, 15-13, 15-4, 15-1. The Knights play Alta Loma, a 15-13, 15-12, 15-4 winner over Chino Hills Ayala, in the second round.

In Division IV volleyball:

Calvary Chapel 3, Murrietta Valley 0--Courtney Owens had 15 kills for top-seeded Calvary Chapel (13-4), which won, 15-2, 15-4, 15-5. The Eagles advance to the second round to play the El Centro Central Union-Cathedral City winner.

Valencia 3, Colton 0--Carrie Ritchey had 11 kills to lead Valencia (14-3), which won, 15-11, 15-13, 15-9. Valencia will play Tustin Saturday.

Whittier Christian 3, South El Monte 0--Ana Paveloff had 15 kills for Whittier Christian (11-4), which won, 15-4, 15-5, 15-7. Whittier Christian advances to play the Thousand Oaks La Reina-Atascadero winner.

In Division V volleyball:

Capistrano Valley Christian 3, Hemet West Valley 1--Carmen Fusco had 11 kills to lead Capistrano Valley Christian (10-4), 5-15, 15-6, 15-1, 15-3. The Eagles will play Azusa, a 15-2, 15-6, 15-5 winner over Lucerne Valley, in the second round Saturday.

St. Margaret's 3, Palos Verdes Chadwick 1--Emily Hallenbeck had 24 kills and Lisa Bevill had 44 assists for St. Margaret's (10-5), which won, 8-15, 15-10, 15-10, 15-13. St. Margaret's plays the Cerritos Whitney-Huntington Park St. Matthias winner.

In Division VI volleyball:

Hemet Baptist Christian 3, Southern California Christian 0--SCC (11-7) lost, 15-0, 15-3, 15-9. Baptist Christian is 18-1.
