About the review of Neal Gabler's "Winchell" (Nov. 13):
Seeing that old radio on the cover along with Winchell's "Good evening Mr./Mrs. America," I reached for a cup of coffee and sat down to enjoy reading the review--but didn't enjoy it!

Inviting But No Fun
The reviewer's choice of words and phrases was distracting. What does \o7 exiguously disreputable \f7 mean?
Hope someone else reviews the book (at $30 I'm not going to buy it based on this review)--but keep the same cover on the book review section.
