Dunn, 42, is director of athletics at Cal State Los Angeles, a National Collegiate Athletic Assn. Division II university that fields teams in six men's and five women's sports and competes in the California Collegiate Athletic Assn. conference. Dunn, formerly the associate athletic director and women's basketball coach at Cal State L.A., has been director of athletics since 1988 and is the first woman to hold the position in the school's history.
