Newly elected Ventura County Supervisor Frank Schillo has announced plans to move his Thousand Oaks office to the Civic Arts Center. This move will cost county taxpayers an additional $12,000 annually for rent.
This is the same man who stated a week earlier that "we've got to get lean and mean" and take a sharp knife to the county's budget. I'll bet the county bureaucrats are quaking in their boots.
