The Chargers had needled Deion Sanders all week, calling him a weak-hitting player. So they were surprised when Sanders cut down Natrone Means with one of the game's better open-field tackles.

Until this season, Sanders was known as one of the NFC's better run-force cornerbacks. Apparently word hadn't reached the Chargers.
