SMALL FACES: Joan Jett is teaming up with surviving members of the Seattle band the Gits next month for three concerts benefiting a fund to find the murderer of the group's singer Mia Zapata, who was killed in 1993. Billed as Evil Stig (that's Gits Live backward), they'll play March 3 and 4 in Seattle and March 5 in Portland. . . .

Soul Asylum is putting together a tour package for the summer, with three or four bands for just a $12 ticket. Weezer and Veruca Salt are among the support acts being discussed. . . .
