Prettyman to Be Dominguez Hills' Athletic Director

Ron Prettyman, Southern California College athletic director, will leave the school to become athletic director at Cal State Dominguez Hills, it was announced Friday.

Prettyman, SCC athletic director since 1983, said he would miss leading the Vanguards' athletic program, but was ready for the new challenge.

He will start his new job April 3. Dominguez Hills has been searching for an athletic director since Kay Don resigned in August 1994.

Prettyman played tennis and basketball at SCC in the 1970s. He is currently also the co-head coach of the men's and women's tennis teams.
