Van Nuys native Thurlow Rogers finished ninth in the 100-mile Wine Country Classic in Santa Rosa. Rogers, who represents the Nutra-Fig team, maintained his lead in the season-long National Cup Series.

Crespi High is accepting applications for a varsity water polo coach to replace Jeff Thornton, who resigned after 12 seasons.
