SANTA CLARITA — Two months after a suit to block the construction of the 829,000-square-foot Valencia MarketPlace was rejected, a citizens' group that endorses slow-growth policies announced Thursday it will appeal a decision of a Los Angeles Superior Court judge.
"We have filed an intent to appeal," said Lynne Plambeck, vice president of the group, which is among the chief opponents of the proposed construction of what would be the largest shopping complex in the Santa Clarita Valley.
